On Saturday morning I went to a pancake breakfast with my dad and my brother. It was in the basement of a nearby church. I had one  plain pancake with whipped cream. It was delicious, but not as good as my dad’s chocolate and banana pancakes. While I was there i saw Carrie, David, Dylan, Evan, Happy, Mr. Parintozie and Marty. We took Evan back to our house to pick up Andrew who was waiting at our home. From there we drove to fencing to drop Max off. From there we continued to the aquarium. As soon as we got there, we went into the membership line and I got a penguin stamp on the back of my left hand. From there we went to the stingray and shark touch tank. The sharks were all in the back corner where  nobody could get to touch them. The stingrays were everywhere  and they felt soft, fatty and smooth. photo by Kerri This last week we got our grandparents dog Kallie for the week because they were in Florida visiting my cousins. One of the bad things about Kallie is that when you leave her alone for a little while then she gets bored and looked around the house for stuff to chew on. When we get back home one of our favorite pens or a cool toy could be half gone and slimey!!!! One time she even chewed up my shin guard and ripped off the foam padding that goes inside and touches my leg. She also chewed up a sponge, wind up toy, lots of LEGO® and even a lightbulb!!!!! We also bought her a new rope with a ball on the end and she chewed that up too!!! Luckely she did not destroy anything to valuable. Another responsibility while dog sitting Kallie is that we had to take her out for a walk about three times a day and we had to pick up the poop. When I walk her there is always another dog some were and Kallie is so playful that I have to hold her rope around a tree like a pulle...

I woke up one morning because of a strange amount of white light streaming into the room from the window. I got out of bed and looked on what was outside. “THERE WAS SNOW UP TO THE PORCH EVERYWHERE”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ran down stairs to get my snow gear on. Once I got outside I dove into the snow happily and started to dig, then I dug some more. Until it was as tall as me and much wider. I quickly jumped out and ran inside to get my brother. He  so sleepy I had shake him awake. We went downstairs to eat breakfast because I was starving and I wanted him to come fast outside to play with me in the snow. Once we were outside, I jumped back into the hole to dig some more, this time with my brother.We spent about one hour in there making a room big enough for me to stand but Max had to slouch a little bit to not bump his head. tortoise I've been wanting a new pet. I want a tortoise, but I may get a turtle because a tortoise costs a lot of money. A tortoise can cost about $100.00 or more, where a turtle costs around $20.00. The size of a turtle tank is 4-5 times longer than the turtle,and  3-4 times wider than the turtle.If the water is to shallow then they can get hurt. They need special light such as UV light ,incandescent (for heat) and fluorescent (for essential health).12 hours of light a day using both UVA/UVB fluorescent. Aquatic turtles eat crickets, meal worms, wax worms or comet goldfish. The size of a tortoise tank is a 40 gallons or larger glass tank with a screen on top and lots of room with a shallow water dish to soak their shells. They will also need a dry hiding place and UV light ,incandescent (for heat) and fluorescent (for essential health). You must maintain a daytime temperature between 70-85º for basking. First, there were lots of amazing and awesome land animals. Bananaquit I took this picture!!!!! For February vacation I went to the Caribbean on St. John.  We stayed with my grandmother’s friend, Sally.There was a big porch with a swimming pool, a table and 4 beach chairs. On the first morning of February vacation, my Grandmother told me that a bird called the Bananaquit   loves sugar water. So we went outside, got the bowl, then took it inside. We put a lot of sugar and some warm water in the bowl to give to the birds. Then I carefully took it back outside. As soon as we got inside again, two came immediately. They were about 4 to 5 inches and had a  big bright yellow belly. The rest of their bodies were black.   I thought that were very cute. It was funny to watch them bend up and down to get the water. Some times there was as many as 8 all bunched up. I got them water almost every day.

Click, Clack, Moo:  Cows that Type This fall I did something very exciting. I was in a play called “Click Clack Moo.” It was run by three high school students, named Molly, Jenny and Erica. They were called Center Stage. There were twenty or so kids and we rehearsed at the Armory Center for the Arts. Every week we would play awesome games. One was called “the bus ride of dooooooooooooom” where Molly would go around the circle and choose one person to come on the bus. Then she and everyone on the “bus” would have to act like that person who just came on.   Another game was the “belly race” where everyone would get on their bellies and race to the other side of the big room. Whoever won, would get a five second penalty so other people could have a chance to win. Once I won twice in a row, even with the penalty.
