Baby Ellie

School Writing Prompt: “Are you my mommy?” Baby Ellie asked in her mind. “Yes,” the device answered, “Yes, I am.” “Then who is my father?” she wondered. “Your father is a robot, like me,” said the device, “You are a robot like the rest of us, except you are in disguise.  You are disguised as a baby and you will grow up to be a human-looking robot.” Confused, Ellie asked, “Then can we just be a regular family and go on walks in the park?  You know what I would really like is a pacifier and a crib.” The device said warmly, “Yes, we can do all of that if we just get out of this room.” Then mechanical legs and arms sprouted out of the device and with the mom holding the baby’s hand, they walked out of the room.  They left the human’s house and walked all the way to their own robot house.  As they walked up to their front door, which was made of gears, the door opened automatically. Before going into the house, they looked down to see all of the wires that help run the

If the money hadn’t been under Joe’s pillow

Charlie Nadeau November 2013 If the money hadn’t been under Joe’s pillow, he never would have had enough money to go to the candy store.  So he took the money and walked all the way to the candy store. When he got there, it wasn’t like any other candy store he had ever seen. He swore that he had been there before, but there were all the same candies that he had He looked up and he couldn’t see the ceilings.  The shelves just went up and up and up. He went to the front desk and asked the store manager to see some of the candies at the top.   They got on a hover machine and began to float up until he couldn’t see the ground anymore.  He looked around and saw bins filled with candies that he had never seen before. They had strange labels in a different language that he had never seen before. But yet, he could still read them.  One said, “Candy to know your heart’s desire.” Another said, “Candy to be able to talk to animals.” He didn’t dare to look around to look at the othe

The Giant Seed

If the money hadn’t been under the pillow then... ...he wouldn’t have been able to buy the giant seed the next day. Ray had been saving up his allowance for one entire month.  He still wasn’t very close to having the total amount.  He was nervous about it going off sale or someone else buying it all month. But when he found the $20 bill under his bed pillow, he realized that he had exactly the amount to get the giant seed. Now he had to get back to the museum to see if it was still there to buy it.   A month ago, Ray was at the Museum of Lost Artifact for his friend Harry’s birthday party. At the end of the party, he was taken to the special shop of artifacts on sale, where in the corner was the seed. The giant seed was about a foot tall and was green and white striped with black polka dots. Ray felt in his heart that the seed was very special.

Magic

It is a mythic rare which is the best kind of card.  The second card was a artifact for 5 colorless mana called Ring of Three Wishes. I have 2 other mythic rare cards called Heliod god of the sun and Devout invocation.
