Carpenter? Who?

This morning, me mom, and dad discovered that we had attracted much more beautiful birds with our new bird feeder. I immediately came to the thought of making a birdhouse to. We went down to the basement and started to make the dimensions. It took us half an hour of math and numbers before we even used anything beside a pencil. After cutting the front and back we talked about pythagoras theorem for a bit trying to get the dimensions for one part of the top.

We woke up in our hotel room in Tours and went downstairs for breakfast. A man named Pascal and his partner ran the hotel and Pascal were serving breakfast. He was very nice and served us incredible hot chocolate, croissants, baguette, Nutella, and jam. We ate quickly then got in a cab to the Tourist Office in Tours. From the Tourist Office, we took the van to start our tour of the Chateaus of France. This is Clos Luce, the Chateau where Leonardo da Vinci died. Day #1 in London

My grandmother and I arrived at Heathrow in London at about 10:30 AM local time, and we were extremely tired. I had only got about an hour or two of sleep on the plane over the Atlantic ocean. We walked to the taxi area and got into a cab. The UK taxis are black and look old, on the inside, there is quite a large space, and three seats along the back of the car. There is no trunk in the UK taxis so we had lots of extra space inside the taxi. Even with the taxis old look, it had an intercom for talking to the driver and also an AC and window button. When we arrived at our hotel we put our bags down and immediately took a two-hour long nap before leaving for lunch. We ate lunch at the ale and pie restaurant below our hotel. The Irish International Immigrant Center

During the last two weeks, I have been working at the IIIC ( Irish International Immigrant Center ), in Boston. They help immigrants from over 120 countries to become citizens of the United States. Our family friend, Ronnie Millar, is the Executive Director there, and he very kindly allowed me to intern with him for the two weeks that I was on school vacation. During my time there, I did a variety of things, including, helping out in some of the classes, delivering and picking up packages (some containing tasty sandwiches), and organizing a great variety of cords. I also had to dress nicely, and get up early, neither of which was a problem for me. Due to snow days, and other time constraints, I only had the opportunity to attend and assist in two classes, the first was an English class and the second was class to help immigrants learn some technology basics.
