My Saturday

On Saturday morning I went to a pancake breakfast with my dad and my brother. It was in the basement of a nearby church. I had one  plain pancake with whipped cream. It was delicious, but not as good as my dad’s chocolate and banana pancakes. While I was there i saw Carrie, David, Dylan, Evan, Happy, Mr. Parintozie and Marty.

We took Evan back to our house to pick up Andrew who was waiting at our home. From there we drove to fencing to drop Max off. From there we continued to the aquarium.

As soon as we got there, we went into the membership line and I got a penguin stamp on the back of my left hand. From there we went to the stingray and shark touch tank. The sharks were all in the back corner where  nobody could get to touch them. The stingrays were everywhere  and they felt soft, fatty and smooth.

After a little bit of that we went down a staircase to the jellyfish. We saw a jellyfish so small that you can only really see it clearly with a magnifying glass. The jellyfish were before the crustaceans and survived all the mass extinctions.

Then after that we went up the stairs and across the entrance then to the penguin tank. Andrew asked the lady in the tank why the penguins had a bracelet on their wings. She answered that the ones with them on the right were girls and also tell its name.

We went to the bridge to get to the big tank and from there around and around to the very top. Once there we stood next to the man feeding the turtle lettuce. Andrew asked the man “how old is that turtle”.
“about 80 or 90 years old”. some other questions we had were:
“ what are those blocks you're feeding her” or “what is that thing in the food box and the answers were:
“there blocks of seaweed and small plankton” and “that is some squid with vitamins inside”.
