Going home from Amsterdam
The first thing that we did in the morning was walking along one of the canals in Amsterdam because our flight back home was at 3:00. We walked along Singelgracht canal for about 30 minutes until Baba wanted to go back because she thought if we waited for any longer we would miss the plane. On the way back we went a quicker way and got back in fifteen minutes. Then I told Baba that we could walk around for about another hour before we had to leave. I suggested that we walk around a nearby park for the remaining hour before we left. She agreed and we walked around the park and around the lakes in Vondelpark before we went back to the hotel. We backed our bags finally and left for the airport. The lines at the airport were extremely long, but we managed to get to the terminal 30 minutes before the plane left.
When we arrived it was about 4:00 in the afternoon (because of the time change) and Ezra, Mom and Dad were waiting at the exit to bring us home. For dinner we had Sushi and Ezra did a great job adjusting me to the time change while keeping me awake.

Charlie, many thanks for the wonderful travelogue. We saw a lot and learned a lot. Yours was a trip filled with magnificent historical sites, wonderful food, Harry Potter locations, silver dragons, statues without heads, Passover brisket in a village of 48, green cake, and golden men pretending to be statues. I hope you do a similar travelogue some day, and that I'm allowed to come along with you it as I did this rime..
