Last Day in Paris

When I woke up, Baba was coming through the door with breakfast. I had a mini lemon meringue tart and also some hot chocolate. After a bit, while I ate my breakfast, and Baba drank her coffee, we set out to go Sacré-Cœur and to see a  few other things around there. We walked to the bus stop that would take us to Sacré-Cœur

After we left Sacré-Cœur we went to a place called Sushi Shop wich had an amazing menu.

Lunch dessert at paul's patisserie wich is a local bakery. I got a lemon tart, and Baba got a vanilla macaroon.

    Wow, if only we built malls like that here in the US! I might actually enjoy the experience of going shopping!

    Charlie, I enjoy looking at the golden man pretending to be a statue. Do you suppose that's a line of work he got into in later years, or has he wanted to be a statue all his life? After the other kids said they wanted to be a policeman, a fireman, a great soccer player, etc., he told the teacher he wanted to be a statue when he grew up.
    I hope he's a nice statue. What if he isn't? I 've heard of the golden mean, but this will be the first time I've heard of a mean golden.

We woke up in our hotel room in Tours and went downstairs for breakfast. A man named Pascal and his partner ran the hotel and Pascal were serving breakfast. He was very nice and served us incredible hot chocolate, croissants, baguette, Nutella, and jam. We ate quickly then got in a cab to the Tourist Office in Tours. From the Tourist Office, we took the van to start our tour of the Chateaus of France. This is Clos Luce, the Chateau where Leonardo da Vinci died. It has many of his incredible inventions inside of it. This was his workshop where he started his paintings, sketches, and designs for his inventions. This is a lifesize model of his most famous painting "the Mona Lisa". The is Chateau Chenonceau, considered the most beautiful Chateaus in all of France. Solar Powered

In our house, we recently installed solar panels to reduce our carbon emissions and also save about 45% of our annual costs for our house’s electricity. My Dad wrote a few questions for me to answer that would attempt to persuade much more people to add solar panels to their own houses, and also to try and persuade others to add them to their own houses. Why does solar work for our house? Solar works for our house because we have multiple roof areas mostly south facing that have sufficient sunlight to make a good amount of electricity to be worth the money that they cost. What is the design? There are 19 panels on the one side of the roof and 5 on the other side of the roof above Mom, and Dad’s bedroom How much does it cost? It costs $20,000  when they are installed, but nothing every year afterward. How much electricity will it produce? Our solar panels will produce about 5946 kWh every year for 25 years. Day #1 in London

My grandmother and I arrived at Heathrow in London at about 10:30 AM local time, and we were extremely tired. I had only got about an hour or two of sleep on the plane over the Atlantic ocean. We walked to the taxi area and got into a cab. The UK taxis are black and look old, on the inside, there is quite a large space, and three seats along the back of the car. There is no trunk in the UK taxis so we had lots of extra space inside the taxi. Even with the taxis old look, it had an intercom for talking to the driver and also an AC and window button. When we arrived at our hotel we put our bags down and immediately took a two-hour long nap before leaving for lunch. We ate lunch at the ale and pie restaurant below our hotel.
